Monster Parliament

8th November - Nottingham

Game themes: Supernatural / Politics

Gameplay: Negotiation / Rules-Lite / Teams / Halloween Horror

Werewolves, witches, vampires, mad scientists, emancipated and unionised thralls and familiars, plus more besides - it’s a diverse setup in the Monsterland Parliament, and not everyone can get along.

Will the aristocratic and aloof vampire elders get their policy through on re-opening the silver mines before garlic is legalised, who benefits from the introduction of synthetic blood, and what exactly is the agenda of the Church of the Old Ones and why are they so keen to lobby politicians now?

It’s all to play for with every political party trying to get the attention of the Slime Minister and make sure it’s THEIR policies which get passed.

Teams are made up of no more than 3 players, with several solo-player roles available, along with press. We’re sure those who are so inclined to costumes will have a ball with this one!

Inspired by Coalition of Chaos by Rob Grayston, in itself inspired by Power to the People by Jim Wallman.

Player testimony from other EMM games:

“Just a brilliant high-energy mess of information gathering, negotiation, and team-work. Loved it to bits… Everyone got so into it - the dread, the politics, the weirdness - very thematic.”

“All of it was fantastic, the components were really good quality and the mechanics made sure it ran well.”

“I loved how open the facilitators were to our bonkers suggestions, and how patient they were when we failed to see the apparent danger”
